Tonight was the final build to the Royal Rumble and the show kicked off with Team Hell No addressing their match with Team Rhodes Scholars, but things soon deteriorated in to an argument over who was going to win the Rumble match. Big Show then made his presence known and vowed to “squish” World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio in their Last Man Standing Rematch. With 6 men on the verge of brawling in the center of the ring, General Manager Booker T decided to make the main event: Big Show & Team Rhodes Scholars vs. Team Hell No & Alberto Del Rio in a Six-Man Elimination Tag Team Match!

After the match Show would crush Del Rio under the announce table in a sign of what’s to come in their PPV bout.

Also tonight CM Punk decided to face his critics head on and called out The Shield. He made it clear that he is in no way associated with the vigilantes and warned them off interfering in his match with the Rock. He is the Best In The World and does not need their help.

Although not convinced the Great One said it didn’t matter, because he’d still be taking home the WWE Championship.
