Mania Celeb, Richie Steamboat Injured, Hernandez Out For 3 Months, WWE Removes Signs

- According to PWInsider.com former American Idol winner Fantasia will be signing “America the Beautiful” at Wrestlemani on Sunday.

- Richie Steamboat (son of the dragon) was recently injured in developmental tearing his PCL. He’ll need surgery and several months recovery.

- Hernandez is taking some time off from TNA to work in Mexico. Creative wrote him out by injuring last night. He is not actually injured.

- WWE’s overzealous security continue crowd sign removal at TV events. The policy is to remove any sign for a performer that no longer works for the company but makes their name elsewhere, such as TNA. They have however removed Randy Savage signs on occasion.

It doesn’t seem to matter if you’re on WWE’s side of the Monday Night Wars because they have also removed anti-TNA signs. I guess any mention of TNA is considered a no no.

    Signs ? Removing signs ? Really?,,, REALLY ? Wrestling owners should be happy to have the fans selling out the arenas. Fans should be able to post anything on paper(as long it doesnt contain profanity) that they want. Freedom of speech is our first amendment.

    Freedom of speach (1st Amendment) doesn’t apply in the confines of private property. Fans choose to go there. Vince’s rules apply. Oh, yeah!
