- Erica Cerra, best known as Jo Lupo on Syfy’s series Eureka, was interviewed by MovieWeb and discussed her upcoming film “The Stranger” with Steve Austin. On Steve’s role she said, “Steve Austin plays a man who has a mental illness that makes him forget what’s going on. It’s kind of bizarre because it’s kind of like amnesia but you do get it back. You sort of get bits and pieces back of your memory but you go from personality to personality. So you forget who you are and then all of the sudden you create this character in your mind and two minutes later you forget who that character is and your confused so it’s a really quite sad mental disorder…Steve does an absolutely great job and it was a pleasure working with him. I think the film will be great. The movie is sort of a psychological thriller/rough and tough movie/drama so I think it has a little bit of everything.”
- Christian is being advertised for the upcoming Smackdown house shows, so it is likely that he’ll move to the brand when WWE NXT launches. The company is yet to decide what to do with the ECW title.
- Eric Bischoff had the following to say about Sting on the BubbaThe Love Sponge show after he missed the recent tapings due to a family emergency:
“Sting’s a great talent. Love him to death. My problem is now that we’re trying to do this big picture. I understand how big picture it is for the wrestling business. Sting had life-and-death personal issues, but from a business side, it totally screws us up. If at any time that happens, I got a personal issue, now we have to switch gears on who we use, you can’t build the world around them. Everybody has got to make a commitment. It’s easy to say we want TNA to be No. 1, but if you’re not willing to put TNA as a priority above almost every situation, then it’s probably not going to work out.”
