TNA Game Doomed, Vader Training Junior? Tara Blogs, Lance Hoyt Update
By Keelan Balderson | Jul 3, 2009 | Wrestling News | | Comments

- The second TNA video game in its current incarnation looks doomed as Warner Bros officially acquired Midway Games for $33 million, without the TNA license as an asset.

- Legendary wrestler Vader is actively training his son Jesse White to become a pro wrestler out of Japan. He was originally recruited to the University of Oklahoma and was touted for the NFL but a back injury had him sidelined.

- After being criticized for rising up to the Chris Benoit mistress rumors, which only added to the speculation, former WWE Diva Victoria turned TNA Knockout Tara posted the following blog update:

“Let me start off by saying that I learned a valuable lesson. I responded to a rumor, and what I learned was, the people whose opinion I truly value, my family, my friends, the folks who follow my wrestling career, and my MySpace friends, they know me well enough to know who I am. So I didn’t need to respond. But I sure do appreciate all your support.

I’m going to make this short. I am between MMA training sessions. I will talk more about it once I decide either way, but a fight promoter came to my coach with an amazing fight opportunity. It is against a name those who follow women’s MMA would know. It is a great opportunity, and would be two months away, and frankly, we are discussing whether I can be ready for a fighter at that level this soon. I’ll keep you guys in the loop.”

- Former TNA star Lance Hoyt, who is now under a WWE Developmental deal is now going by the name Lance Archer due to WWE’s standard if changing names to obtain copyright ownership.

Great, just what we need, another second generation wrestler that could care less about the buisness and is using it for their own gain.

I think that sending Jesse White to Japan is a great idea, it keeps him from getting an inflated ego like a lot of the newer 2nd generation wrestlers we have today. Other 2nd generation wrestlers like the Von Erich family, Malenkos (Joe and Dean), Hart family, the Windhams (Kendall and Barry), and Randy Savage just to name a few seemed to have their act together.

Blame people like Vince McMahon for pushing the 2nd generation wrestlers to the top without allowing them to pay their dues and work their way up the ladder.

    Cool site, love the info.
