Three More WWE Stars Released, Christian WWE Return Update

Why in the world did the WWE release Elijah Burke? He is a great wrestler who could of had something creative to do if the creative team would of took the time to come up with something good for him to do. They were simply being lazy. The same can be said about Kenny Dykstra. Manu is boring and what has he done great in the WWE but get caught cheating. I bet when Dolph Ziggler comes back from suspension he’ll get a massive push. Lena Yada is a differnt story, she can do modeling or something. I hope Christian does not go back to the WWE. TNA is the best choice for him. He’ll never become a champion in the WWE like Edge. Edge should come to TNA if he wants to be with Christian so badly, but I know that will never happen.

Sad to see Elijah Burke go, he had real potential to do something in the WWE.

I’d love to see Christian return to the WWE, he’s had his run in TNA and it’s time he went back to the big leagues. An Edge & Christian -v- Hardy’s would be great to see again, but I’d quite like to see Christian return to Raw and keep the re-union in suspense!

I agree that he may not become World Champion, however, I would like to see him return and win MITB. They could wait until Edge becomes World Champ and at some point have Christian take his belt from him!

Now that would be awsome!

I’m keeping an openmind wen mention of cage returning as TNA have done this numerous times like Nash for example. as for Elijah the guy was so underutilized after the new breed feud and was basically tossed aside typical of wwe to do that

That sucks that Elijah burk is gone i was really hoping he would become a star.I really hope Christian dose return to WWE.I think he could become champion now days i mean jericho returned after being gone for 2 years an not even a year later he has been champion 2 times so i think Christian could very well become champ.I think that is a good idea haveing Christian return an win the money in the bank that would be cool.

i think it’s a good idea for having christian to leave from tna @ come home to the wwe because really he have been left from wwe since late 2005 @ he have not return to wwe for 3 years but at less i will be happy for christian to be back home for wwe so he can be the next world champion @ he have a chance to do that at armagddon in december 14th,2008 so im hope @ praying for christian to return home to the wwe because the fans miss him i miss him @ every other people miss him so at less now he can be a world champion agian make it home christian your number 1 wwe fan david wells

Elijah Burke being let go is a damn shame. A future big name, quite frankly a waste. Wasnt much of a Dykstra fan, but he did his time ie. having to be part of the dumbest faction ever the Spirit Squad. So at least he tried. As for Christians return…i cant wait! He has so much charisma and is an awesome wrestler. He plays the heel so well. I think Christian is what the WWE need right now and its time for him to make his comeback. Hopefully at the Rumble ending Hardy’s reign and setting up an awesome match at the grandest stage of em all!

Burke was never used, that is a shame to see. Maybe he will go to TNA and get a good story line of sorts. Dykstra, never paid to much attention to, but I must give him props for the Spirit Squad. Most retarded thing ever, but he did it. As for Christian, I believe he’ll be better off in TNA. He will get more chances to be the champ and the man that the company relies on. With the WWE, there’s a slim chance he’ll get any major pushes.

Christian is returning tonight he is going to get jeff DQed which sets up a #1 contenders match between edge and christian at No Way Out and the winner (christian) will recieve a title match at wrestlemania.

I didn’t think Christain was going to return at the royal rumble. I do hope he comes back though. The shows are running out of people. And I think he may either be in the Elimination Chamber at No Way Out or in Money in the Bank at Wrestlemania 25.

Are all of you serious? I read this thread and seriously laughed until pop oozed out of my nose. For one, Kenny the “dyke” Dykstra had become completly usless since the disbanding of the Spirit Squad, which in fact was a funny gimmik, with that said, he hasn’t done anything noteworthy since other than being Mickie James boyfriend. He is an average wrestler with outstanding athletic ablity..but he never really developed a “character” outside of the SS, so therefore he was sent packing. The brass in the WWE will ride you out as long as they can, giving u chances to develop just as they did Kenny when he was sent to the farm, but he never showed any signs of improving to what they wanted..hence the departure.
Now Burke on the other hand had tremendous potential, however what he lacked was backstage swaggar..he never really did get in good with the brass or officials, so that sort of limited his “pushes” on the flip side of things he will be just fine, he is an extremly talented athlete, and has a lot going for him inside the ring, he needs to improve his promo’s and work on his gimmik..im sure TNA or some other smaller promotion will book him.
Now for the “Instant Classic” yes Christian will be back in the WWE, it is inevitable…he only left to take a break from the road, and give his body and mind a break from all the non stop work the WWE places on its talent. TNA offered him that, the freedom to be home more than 3 nights a months, and alos limited his “work load” which leads to the point we are at now. Jason (aka Christian) is ready to come home, to the “show” he knows how to work crowds, he knows his gimmik, and he is still in good standing with managment. I do not forsee any world titles in his “near” future, but I do see him playing a BIG role in the Matt and Jeff saga, as will Edge..this will all unfold by Wrestlemania. I think Christian will be back on TV by No Way Out..this is all being kept hush hush due to all the recent “leaks” of storylines and such…Vince is not a Happy Billionaire. You’re right about Burke not having much political sway. The same forces that brought his initial push were unfortunately not in the same position to make it last.
