Watch Undertaker’s Return, Colter Calls Out Glenn Beck, Austin Talks Acting, Miz & Maryse Engaged

the undertaker

WWE posts footage of Undertaker returning at house show:
The Undertaker made his in-ring return to WWE at Saturday’s house show from Waco, Texas, teaming with Sheamus to defeat Damien Sandow and Wade Barrett…

While this is not confirmation that the Deadman will be on Monday’s Raw, it’s certainly a strong indication. It’s believed he wanted to test how he felt in the ring before making a final decision about Wrestlemania.

Several stars commented on the return…

Orton: “Got to watch Undertaker perform in Waco tonight at the #Smackdown live event. Very motivating to watch him do his thing. #Legend Killer”

Ricardo: “Can’t describe the feeling we all got here tonight in Waco, Texas after having The Undertaker compete. I legit got goosebumps!”

Barrett: “Hell of a night at #WWEWaco. Expect the unexpected… #WWECollegeStation tomorrow.”

Swagger & Colter break Kayfabe to challenge Glenn Beck:
Following WWE’s written invitation to political commentator Glenn Beck about appearing on Raw, the company uploaded a video of Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter breaking Kayfabe midway through a promo to challenge Beck on his “stupid wrestling people” comment. Though WWE employees and wrestlers break character all the time on Twitter and in interviews, it’s rarely done through an official WWE outlet such as the FanNation Youtube page…

Beck who sees the Zeb Colter storyline as a way to demonize the Tea Party movement, turned down the invitation Tweeting: “Unfortunately I am currently booked doing anything else.”

WWE say they are prepared to give him a live mic to say whatever he wants.

Steve Austin discusses transitioning to Hollywood:
WWE Hall of Famer Steve Austin discussed his transition from wrestler to action hero in a recent interview with Forbes.com…

“I don’t know if a pro wrestling career prepares you for Hollywood. When you get out there and you’re in an arena for 20,000 people or 90,000 people it’s a lot different than being on a quiet set with 100 people, so I think you get used to dealing with cameras,” says Austin. “But there’s many things that are the same. There’s ten times the things that are different. So there’s a little bit of crossover, but not much to bottom line it.”

“Man, it’s a whole different animal because when you’re out there on the road, you’re a truck driver, you’re driving yourself to and from events, and then you’ve got to perform and then you got to put on your rock star hat and go do all the stuff that you do afterwards. So you’re kind of living three lives in one body. I got a lot of respect for people in the movie industry. There’s a lot of work that goes into preparing for the role, preparing for what you’ve got to do and being a pro and pulling it off to the upmost of your ability, so both are hand-in-hand as far as a bust-ass endeavor to do your best.”

Austin also discussed his memories of the Attitude Era…

“I had so many of them it seems like every time I went to work on the Monday Night RAW, I was looking forward to seeing what kind of shenanigans I was going to be playing in the storyline. But just going to work every night and just being on the road and getting in the ring every night was probably the biggest fun of all. And hanging out with the guys and just living that life was my dream. And I had a good time doing it.”
