CM Punk‘s controversial Tweets about the Pope:
CM Punk has been Tweeting today about Pope Benedict XVI’s resignation. In one exchange he called him a Nazi!

To begin with Punk retweetd somebody’s pun:
“@jonodiener: The pope resigned? I did nazi that coming.” Magic.

This prompted a bit of a backlash from some of Punk’s followers. One fan Tweeted: “That’s an envelope-pushing tweet for a company employee.”

Punk bluntly responded: “Oh piss off. Pope was a nazi.”

While the Pope was not a member of the Nazi party, he was a conscripted member of the Hitler Youth, which was a requirement of all German boys. Presumably Punk was just being a heel by parroting a common bigoted claim.

The Shield vs Ryback, Cena & Sheamus in the Chamber?:
Although it may have been a typo, Ryback Tweeted today that his tag match at Sunday’s PPV will be in the Elimination Chamber…

“Justice will be delivered hard to @theshieldwwe this sunday in NOLA in The Chamber. #FeedMeMore”

Could Ryback have leaked what may be announced tonight on Raw?

While the Chamber is usually every man for himself, it could just as easily work under team rules, with random entrants giving either team the advantage.

Hogan continues teasing return:
TNA’s Hulk Hogan continues to tease an in-ring return. In response to a fan Tweet today he wrote:

“…getting back on track, this could get real interesting really fast brother, never say never brother. HH4Life2sweet.”

Over the past few months the Hulkster has been hinting in interview that his surgery may allow him to have another match. In December he even told the UK Guardian that he wanted a TNA World title run!

“3 Knee surgery I’ve had eight back surgeries, I’ve had knee replacements, I’ve had both hip replacements. I only need one more surgery – to fix my right knee – then I’m going to go for the TNA world title. I want to be 59 years old and be the champion.”
