Documentary and Movie on Bruno in the works:
It’s not just the WWE Hall of Fame in the works for Bruno Sammartino. HBO and CBS are leading the pack for rights to a non-WWE documentary about the life of the wrestling legend, and a movie script is also being passed around Hollywood.
Former WWE writer Paul Guay of “Liar Liar” fame wrote the script and two major studios are said to be interested.
On top of this WWE will also be producing a documentary/match DVD set in the coming months, and Bruno has agreed to take part in some of the Legends Round Table shows that have aired on WWE 24/7.
Speaking of Bruno several more stars have chimed in with their thoughts on his Hall of Fame induction:
Roddy Piper told WrestleNewz.com that he doesn’t think there’s a “Hall of Fame good enough for him. He outranks me. He is what a professional wrestler should be. He’s a man’s man. We get along great, and always have.”
“He’s a complete natural and an incredible human being. I can’t give him enough accolades.”
Fellow 2013 class alumni Trish Stratus Tweeted:
“Bruno being inducted is long overdue. It’s like how the Hockey Hall of Fame would be incomplete without Wayne Gretzky; Bruno being inducted makes the WWE Hall of Fame complete. I’m absolutely honored that I’m going to be inducted in the same class as one of our industry’s greats.”
WWE announcer JBL wrote:
“I don’t know what has happened in the past between him and sports-entertainment, but Bruno Sammartino belongs in the Hall of Fame. He sold out the Garden 187 nights. Most people go their entire career without 187 appearances in the Garden. Phenomenal record, what Bruno Sammartino did.”
Shawn Michaels says Bruno’s induction brings the Hall of Fame legitimacy:
“As a Hall of Famer, I feel that, respectfully, the Hall of Fame takes on a legitimacy [with Bruno] that, could be argued, was not there before. The entrance of Bruno Sammartino is an example of the exclusivity, prestige and honor that should be the hallmark of any Hall of Fame.”

Xavier Woods knocks Ohno’s teeth out:
At last night’s NXT show former TNA star Xavier “Consequences Creed” Woods inadvertently knocked out the front teeth of Kassius “Chris Hero” Ohno’s teeth. They even Tweeted pictures!

There’s no heat and nobody was considered to be at fault. Ohno has been joking about it on Twitter.
“Yes Leo, I know. Now please cease with the text messages… You can NOT have my teeth for your necklace. Creeper…”

Foley doesn’t care he’s not top of the bill:
Mick Foley noted on Twitter today that he doesn’t care that he’s not the headline act for the Hall of Fame…
“I might be biased WOZ93 but I think this is shaping up to be one of the strongest Hall of Fame classes ever. I think we just need Bob Barker in the celebrity wing, and the 2013 class is set. I will have no problem at all being inducted 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or anywhere else I’m asked to at the 2013 Hall of Fame.”

3MB looking for band?:
Drew McIntyre noted on Tweeter that 3MB are looking for a band…
“Calling unsigned rock bands with attitude. We want a support group to tear it up at 3MB s first official gig, post your best…and pray #3MB”
It’s not clear if there really is anything in the works or if he’s just playing up the gimmick.
