How close was Lesnar to re-signing with UFC?:
UFC President Dana White revealed how close Brock Lesnar was to re-signing with the company in 2012, after his WWE return. During a press scrum following last night’s UFC On FOX he revealed plans for a superfight between Lesnar and Fedor Emelianenko.
“Remember when I met with Lesnar and said it didn’t go well? It actually went well,” said White.
“Brock wanted to fight Fedor. Then (Fedor’s) dad died, and he was done… After his dad died and he said he was done or whatever, Brock said, ‘I’m done, too.’”

White also suggested that Lesnar will not sign on for another year with WWE after Wrestlemania:
“From what I understand, he is absolutely, positive made the decision not to fight ever again…He’s going to do his stint in the WWE and then go away. He’s got a big farm up in Canada. He loves to farm and he loves to be with his family out in the middle of nowhere.”
