Zack Ryder reveals he had cancer:
WWE star Zack Ryder revealed he once had cancer, in the latest edition of the WWE Magazine.

“When I was in high school, I had cancer. It’s not something I talk about a lot because I don’t want to turn it into a sympathy issue,” says Ryder.

“To make a long story short, one summer I found a lump on my foot. It was a tumor and was removed, but a year later, the doctors found that it had returned in my lungs. They called the cancer a Synovial Sarcoma. The scars on my chest are from ports they inserted to put medicine into my body. It was scary. I had no white blood cells at one point, and my body couldn’t fight off infection. It was brutal, and I missed an entire year of school, but I’m completely healthy now, and I’ve been cancer-free ever since.”

Former WWE announcer hosting In Your house DVD:
Former WWE announcer Todd Pettengill is back working with WWE for the first time in over 14 years. He’s been given a one off pay-day for hosting the upcoming Best of In Your House DVD set, which comes out on April 30th.

Pettengill was a backstage interviewer and host of some of the B Shows from 1993 to 1997, so is a familiar face from the In Your House era.

Outside of WWE Pettengill has been successful in radio.

WWE dropping SmackDown house shows?:
WWE are considering merging the Raw and SmackDown brands for live events, because they are finding it increasingly hard to sell tickets just off the SmackDown name.

Fans obviously see SmackDown as the B show.

Excellent. Now they can unify the titles! That and I’ve got a ticket to a RAW event in March. I want to see Dolph Ziggler!
