Devon Student Calls Cops, Edge Will Never Return, Ambrose Misunderstood? Buggy Thanks WWE

Steelhorse Vachon calls police because opponent broke script?:
Steelhorse Vachon, a trainee of TNA’s Devon reportedly phoned the police after his opponent “broke from the script” during a match at Vintage Wrestling, in Sanford Fl.

Vachon was wrestling former WWE Developmental wrestler Tommy Taylor on Saturday evening, when he claims Taylor took the match in the wrong direction and stiffed him in the face. After the bout Vachon called the police and several squad cars turned up, before determining that there was nothing worth pursuing.

Taylor gave his version of events on his Facebook page:

First off I am not a veteran in Pro Wrestling. I am in my 11th year and still pretty young. But I was trained by 2 of the best in British wrestling Jeff Kaye and Drew McDonald. One of the number one rules was to always “keep your mouth shut and your ears open!”. Which I did 11 years ago and still do today. I actually consider myself too humble sometimes.

Anyway last night I was scheduled to work SteelHorse Vachon (shudders!). And although he wasn’t there at the building for call time I figured I had nothing to worry about when it came to the actual “work”. I shine best when put in the ring with big fellas (this guy is like 6 foot 5 and 280lbs before I go on). So eventually he shows up and literally walks past everyone in the changing room, me, Francisco, Kory just to name a few, and preceded to sit down and get ready…. Ok

When the time came I asked him to come talk to me when he was ready. He strolled over to me with his head in his cell phone and said something like “suppppp”… I said I had an idea and started to explain.. Head still in his phone… So I walked away. I got back with him 5 mins later and have him a second chance.

The way he talked to me reminded me of the way a 15-20 year vet might talk to a fresh rookie! Including the best bit: “I don’t want to do your finish because I don’t trust you and I have BIGGER matches coming up”……… At this point I literally threw my hands up and decided to work this cunt!

Time for the match. Now although there was some tension already I still think a thank you be safe is required…. Nope! …. Out to the ring. I see he has a belt…. A nice championship belt! And he was announced as the Bronx Fed Champ or some b****cks. Then I notice the design of the strap was EXACTLY the same as the VintageWrestling Heavyweight Title that Frankie held… Well alrighty!! Maybe he cleared with the RIGHT people.. (Not just the ring announcer).. I later found out he had not.

So wrestling!!! He hit hard, I hit hard, it was what I wanted.. Until it came to the point of the match I excel in MY FIRE UP! Now without going too much into this, he didn’t like that I sandbagged him and was selling the crowd a deathly camel clutch. (I’m sure the TheAlmighty Sheik wouldn’t want me to hop straight up and basically ignore the fans). Because of this he decided to double slap my ribs/back, taking the wind out of me… So got up and popped him one… He went down and I kicked him out of the ring! I got him through the rest of the match and jobs a good un!

The next part I’m still unsure of what exactly happened but he pretty much fabed everyone and left the venue…….. ONLY TO RETURN WITH THE POLICE!!!! Yes….. For me! For going OFF SCRIPT (his words) I had already set off to go home so that’s why I’m a bit puzzled. But I guess police talked to some of the boys if not all and came to the conclusion it was ridiculous!

So that was my WRESTLEBRAWL 4 night… Lots of fun!

Edge does not want to work for WWE:
WWE Hall of Famer Edge made it clear recently on Twitter that he does not want to return to WWE in any permanent capacity, and is physically unable to wrestle again.

When a fan asked whether he would return to the WWE if medically cleared, he replied “They won’t,” ever clear him to wrestle.

When a fan asked whether he would work for WWE behind the scenes, Edge responded: “After 20 yrs on the road I prefer home for now.”

This does not mean Edge won’t come back for the odd appearance similar to what he’s already done.

Dean Ambrose rubbed people the wrong way?:
Former WWE trainer Tom Prichard suggested Dean Ambrose may have rubbed some people the wrong way backstage in WWE because he’s misunderstood. Writing in the latest issue of Fighting Spirit Magazine in the UK, Prichard says:

“Dean Ambrose is an interesting one. He’s hard to read unless you’ve been around his type of personality before; people like Terry Funk or Roddy Piper spring to mind immediately, and although lofty, those are very fair comparisons. Even so, he has had to learn that you can’t always be switched on to that full-on mindset; sometimes you’ve got to learn when to switch off, which is a delicate balance.”

“Perhaps because of that, he’s been misunderstood backstage – or at least he was when I was in WWE. He’s trying to keep that mystery about him, and be different – breaking the mould, so to speak. Ambrose has a unique style and presence, and he reminds me a lot of Johnny Valentine. William Regal was one of the first to recognise how smart he was, and that stamp of approval is good enough for me”.

I think WWE screwed up big time letting Buggy go.

  • Justice

hmmm well Devons student seems like an idiot and Buggy definetly had more than an eating disorder! Sounds like the girl was on drugs!! Still I dont think she should have been cut, especially when you look at how lacking the divas division is right now! After rehab they should have put her on probation and watched her for a bit.Thats just my opinion.

Devons student does sound like an idiot.not someone I would want in my promotion if I owned one. And Buggy may have been on drugs also.Still she was a great talent in the raw.Or whatever the saying is.WWE should have gave her another chance.I actually think they are getting rid of al the Divas. TNA is doing the same it seems.

The Team 3D Academy (Bubba and Devon Dudley’s wrestling training academy) said Steelhorse Vachon is not one of its students. He trained in New York for seven or eight years prior. The academy said he did work out on occasion the past 1 1/2 years mainly to lift weights at the adjacent fitness club. He is a student of the Northeast. Scott Fishman of The Miami Herald did what most did not who posted the inaccurate information. Instead of just copying or posting what someone else initally wrote, he checked and contacted The Team 3D Academy.
