The Kliq/DX In Hall of Fame? Kaientai News, Graham Responds To Y2J, Eve Bids Farewell
By Keelan Balderson | Jan 16, 2013 | Wrestling News | Tags: Sean Waltman, Shawn Michaels, Superstar Billy Graham | Comments

DX or the Kliq to be in WWE Hall of Fame?:
PWInsider.com is reporting that WWE are considering inducting DX or members of the Kliq in to the Hall of Fame as a group.

If it’s to go ahead this year the Kliq would consist of Shawn Michaels, Kevin Nash, Sean Waltman and Triple H, without Scott Hall or other lesser known “members”. DX would consist of Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Billy Gunn, Road Dogg and Sean Waltman, without Chyna or Rick Rude (who is not really part of the legacy of the group).

While WWE feel both Hall and Nash deserve a spot, they’d rather induct them as the Outsiders than individually. The company are putting off Hall due to his “demons” which is why Nash has been tacked on to the possible Kliq induction. If they really want Hall, that may be a factor in going with DX instead of the Kliq.

Like Hall, Chyna is still considered a liability.

No word on if WWE have ever considered an NWO induction.

Kaientai – Where are they now?:
Former WWE star Funaki was snapped backstage at Tuesday’s San Antonio, SmackDown tapings. He lives locally and was visiting former colleagues.

WWE Diva Natalya Tweeted the following:
“Loved seeing @shofufu824 in San Antonio tonight! Looking as handsome as ever might I add!”

In light of this WWE.com have done a Kaientai “Where Are They Know?” Kaientai of course was the team of Funaki and Taka Michinoku.

Funkaki currently runs a wrestling school in San Antonio, Texas called the Funaki Dojo, and Taka still wrestles and runs his own school in Japan called the Kaientai Dojo.

Billy Graham responds to Y2J’s “mark” comment:
WWE Hall of Famer “Superstar” Billy Graham responded to comments made by Chris Jericho. Graham was upset that CM Punk mocked Bruno Sammartino on Raw and Jericho called him a mark for it. Graham writes:

Mr. Jericho Sir,

I won’t say Dear Chris because I know you hate me with the utter most hatred.

Addressing your quote about me, “And stop being such a mark” The truth is, I believe everyone is a mark for someone or something at some point in their life. For instance, I am a total mark for Bob Dylan. The man has written over 600 songs and I saw him in person here in Phoenix last year. He had never sounded better at the age of 70! Fans are marks for the upcoming Super Bowl, The World Series, The NBA championship playoffs, and Nascar to name just a few examples.

In pro wrestling I am a mark for Triple H and proud to admit it for numerous reasons. He had a great hard earned physique, he had enormous charisma and an in ring presence that was unmatched. I remember sitting on the front row at a PPV here in Phoenix and his opponent gave him a sling shot into the post. I had my eyes fixed on him because I was curious about how he was going to do the blade job. As soon as his head hit the post he started bleeding, I did not see him cut himself and he was right in front of me, just a few feet away! Back in the locker room we were sitting next to each other and I asked him, “Brother, how did you cut your head, as you started bleeding immediately?” He said, ” Superstar, I cut my head right before it hit the post.” I marked out at that very moment, what a pro that man was and still could be if he wanted to be.

In closing I hope that answers your statement to me regarding “being such a mark.” And your quote to me about “Shutting the hell up” I won’t even address that because what I do best is CUT PROMOS!!!

Superstar Billy Graham

Jericho and Superstar have had heat for a number of years.

I have no idea how they could be inducted as the Kliq. It was never an official wrestling stable but a backstage one. And if you can’t induct the whole group (chyna), how the hell can DX be inducted either. Just sounds like the greedy buggars want more than one ring right now. Foley should be the main draw this year.

  • ross c

i agree foley should be unless they can somehow get samartino in it. and dx inducted without scott or china is bs. thats like u said its just shawn and triple h looking to get more rings. triple h will also get in with evolution

  • Dean

Graham seems to be confusing the term ‘mark’ with ‘fan’.

  • lulwhut?

There is no difference, the Mark is a Fan. Anyone that tries to use Mark as a derogative term (that isnt a wrestler) is a fool, because a Mark is a Fan and no Fan is better then another.

  • Dean

A ‘mark’ is somebody who falls for something that they really shouldn’t.

A fan is somebody who likes (for a example) a performers work.

    Totally different.

Graham got upset about something a TV character (not the performer) said on a dumb show. Hence – he’s a dumb mark.

  • lulwhut?

But if its all scripted regardless then all of the Fans are still Marks cause you only like a “performers work” cause thats what he was booked to be like.

CM Punks promos for example.. he was scripted to say those things, none of it is HIM like people like to believe, and if they do think its him then quite frankly they are your definition of a “Mark”..

And because noone can truely differentiate between the two Fans are Marks and Marks are Fans

  • Jason

Wow! I love the response. It sounds like it was done completely respectful. Not something I would expect without a cheapshot.

  • matt

Funny how Graham completely ignores Jerichos intention and just drones on. So he loves HHH for cutting himself like a pro, blading in time for a perfect illusion? But he calls out Punk for cutting his promos like a pro, being a perfect heel?
So yeah, there is nothing wrong about being a mark. But Jericho was right, because Graham is unable to live up to his own creed.
Smart marking for HHH’s blading, but dumb marking ’cause of Punk, he really should shut up.
