Sin Cara and Tyson Kidd Injury Updates, Ryback A Goldberg Fan? Raw Rating, 2nd Dixie Interview
By Keelan Balderson | Jan 16, 2013 | Wrestling News | Tags: Dixie Carter, Ryback, Sin Cara | Comments

Sin Cara and Tyson Kidd return updates:
Details on the returns for injured WWE stars Tyson Kidd and Sin Cara have been posted online. Sin Cara who is out following knee surgery wrote on Twitter:

“Back in Mexico, my knee medical review went great, expect me soon back in the ring!!”

Cara had a scope similar to CM Punk.

Tyson Kidd who is suffering a more serious knee injury will need 6-8 months before getting back in the ring according to an update on the WWE website. Tyson also responded to CM Punk’s recent “workhorse” comments in the article. Here’s what he said:

“I’ve always considered myself a workhorse, and I’ve definitely used that word to describe myself over the last two years,” Kidd said, reflecting on Punk’s carefully chosen terminology. “I go out there and give it my all every single match — and I’ve been doing that for 17 years. Whether in WWE or Japan or Europe or back home in (Calgary, Alberta’s) Stampede Wrestling, it’s always been the same story. In a worst-case scenario, I will outwrestle everybody on this show. Anyone that’s gonna outwrestle me had better perform after me, because I’m going to outperform everybody that I saw before me.”

Kidd’s recent injury is the first time he’s ever needed to take time off in his 17 year career.

Ryback talks Goldberg, WWE title and more:
WWE star Ryback discussed Goldberg, going for the WWE title, The Shield and more during a recent interview with the Phoenix News Times – here are some highlights…

How confident he is in eventually winning the WWE title:
“I know it’s going to happen, it’s only a matter of time. I’ve been a fan my entire life and growing up watching this and its going to be surreal moment and I’m going to take every second of it in. And I look forward to waking up every day the WWE champion.”

His match with Team Hell No vs. The Shield at TLC:
“I’m very proud of that. Daniel Bryan is one guy that I’m pretty close with in the WWE, him and Wade Barrett. But to be a part of that match with Kane and The Shield… I firmly believe that those three men [are] extremely talented and when they eventually go on their own, all of them are going to be a big part of the WWE for many years to come. So to go out there and have that kind of match with everyone, it’s a tremendous honor. And it was a very physical hard-hitting match. And that crowd in Brooklyn was hot. It felt good to be a part of that.”

If he was a fan of Goldberg:
“I was a fan of his. I think was unbelievable and exciting and fun to watch. But I truly, truly love this and have a passion for this and want to be as great as this as I could possibly be. I love money and want to make millions upon millions of dollars, and I’m going to. But at the end of the day, I’m going to be in WWE. I’ve said it at the beginning, I want to be part of WWE for the rest of my life. And I don’t know Bill Goldberg personally, so I don’t know exactly how he feels about wrestling and whatnot, but I can just tell you how I feel, and I think at the end how I feel is what’s going to be what separates me from Goldberg ultimately when my career is winding down. He was a huge draw and hopefully I can be as big if not bigger of a draw as he was in his prime. It motivates me and I look forward to outdoing him in any way possible. It’s never been a negative thing in my mind.”

Funny thing about people sh!tting on Ryback, they forget about who he was before that: Skip Sheffield, which shows he can easily play more then one character.

Its his CHARACTER that may be a tad bit goldberg-esque. Not to mention we have seen him talk properly before.. hes not a 1dimentional performer, hes just currently (arguably) playing a 1dimentional character.

But haters are gonna hate.. its what they do.

even if ryback character is a bit like goldberg, there still was 8 years or so between them, so it’s not that recent. I like to see powerbombs and clotheslines with impact.

  • aman deep

i think ryback’s character is very similer to godberg but goldberg is senier then ryback and because of this goldberg lead but ryback has many years to prove himself. So plz do not try to compare these two talents.
