Hulk Hogan puts over CM Punk:
Although they work for separate companies, wrestling legend Hulk Hogan gave WWE Champion CM Punk his stamp of approval on Twitter yesterday.

The Hulkster wrote:

“I think CM PUNK has stepped up and proved he can hold his own with anybody in the ring and anybody on the mic,he’s on a roll. HH”

WWE announces Alberto Del Rio new World Champ:
WWE have announced that Alberto Del Rio defeated the Big Show at last night’s SmackDown tapings to become the new World Heavyweight Champion. The show from Miami will air this Friday.

WWE.com reports:

On the same night The Rock made his eagerly anticipated return to Friday night’s best show, Alberto Del Rio seized the spotlight and defeated Big Show in a Last Man Standing Match to claim the World Heavyweight Championship.

Del Rio’s title triumph stands as his first World Heavyweight Championship and his third World Title overall. His victory also shows, once again, that anything can happen on SmackDown at any time!

Sunny and boyfriend turn things around:
Original WWE Diva Tammy “Sunny” Sytch is now engaged to her Indy wrestler boyfriend Damien Darling, despite months of meltdowns and legal problems.

Darling was forced to take out a retraining order on Sytch after she repeatedly became drunk and violent towards him. She was arrested at least 4 times (3 within one week) and was forced to return to rehab last year.

Although the WWE Hall of Famer alleged Darling had cheated on her, they appear to have worked out their problems and now wish to get married.

Sarita gone from TNA roster page:
TNA Knockout Sarita has been removed from the ImpactWrestling.com roster page, hinting that she may be gone from the company.

The Hispanic star hasn’t been used by TNA since April.
