Triple H wants Sting in the Hall of Fame:
It’s believed that Triple H is working hard to sign Sting when his TNA contract expires, because WWE want him in their Hall of Fame.
Although he’s never worked for WWE the company see that as his biggest upside. They feel he is a major name in wrestling that could still draw and who deserves to be in the Hall of Fame for his contribution to WCW. As well as being honored, the offer reportedly includes a DVD set and the possibility of a dream match on PPV.
Triple H is the main supporter of the idea and has been selling the fact that Sting is one of the few mega-stars that has not been exhausted by WWE’s marketing machine. The company obviously own the footage to most of Sting’s career and feel it can be monetized.
Sting negotiated with WWE last year but the talks never really got past the first stage. Amidst rumors that he might have been coming in to wrestle The Undertaker, Sting acknowledged that it would be a dream match:
“Always wanted to have one real cool thing with Taker,” he told the Phoenix New Times in October.
“The last time I spoke with him is when he was with WCW [when he was "Mean" Mark Callous]. Teddy Long was his manager and I actually worked with him. We worked a few matches.”
His TNA contract expires at the end of the year.

Keneley discusses how he got signed by TNA:
New TNA commentator Todd Keneley discussed how he joined the company during a recent interview with the Monday Night Mayhem show.
“It’s been great. It has definitely been nothing short of a wild ride and kind of one surprise after another,” said Keneley
“This was something that I expected to happen and saw coming just in talks (with the company), and I think it was Eric Bischoff who really opened the door. Just to go back in time a little bit, I worked on the Celebrity Championship Wrestling show on CMT. I was a ring announcer on that and did some stuff behind the stage. That’s the first time I really worked with Eric and Hulk, and then I worked with them again in 2009.”
“Right after they had signed with TNA, Hulk had a tour in Australia. I did play-by-play and worked in production on that. From that point both of them said, ‘Hey we’re going to do what we can. We think you would be a good fit here.’ So, I’ve been chomping at the bit to get to Impact ever since and studying the product. I’m glad I did because that allowed me to kind of hit the ground running and make sure that I can come in prepared. That’s easy to say, but it’s been tough to prepare for exactly what’s been thrown at me.”

CM Punk‘s return date:
CM Punk’s WWE title match with The Rock at January’s Royal Rumble is still set to go ahead, as the Champion is looking at only about 3 weeks off time.
Punk is currently out rehabbing his knee after he underwent a scope. He initially tried to work through the pain but the company pressured him to have surgery in case he made it worse and jeopardized Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania.
As previously reported the Ryback vs Punk match at TLC has been turned in to a 6-man Tables Ladders and Chairs match, pitting The Shield against Ryback and Team Hell No.
