Michael Hayes behind Heyman heart attack segment:
It’s believed that WWE creative head Michael Hayes was the one that came up with the Paul Heyman heart attack angle, where he and CM Punk mocked the returning Jerry Lawler on Raw.
The feeling was that despite being a heel many fans were still behind Punk from his pipe-bomb days. Hayes felt that the segment would be so diabolical that fans simply could no longer cheer for him.
For the most part it worked, but drew controversy from fans and wrestlers alike.
Although Heyman and Punk fully embraced the storyline, initially Heyman lobbied for the angle to be toned down and changed to remain more true to the CM Punk character.
His concept was likely a preachy segment about how not living the Straight Edge lifestyle leads to heart attacks, or pointing out that an aging man should not be in the ring with superstars.
Hayes would not budge on his idea and the rest is history.

Brad Maddox impersonator fools Diva:
An Internet troll has succeeded in his mission of creating heat for Brad Maddox, after impersonating the rookie and uploading a fake nude video of Rosa Mendes on Youtube.
The troll had taken an episode of Maddox’s old Internet show and edited in a fake locker room clip purportedly showing the WWE Diva getting changed with a hidden cam. The troll convinced a lot of fans and even the WWE locker room that it was really Maddox posting the videos.
At no point however was it ever believed to be a real clip of Mendes.
Rosa angrily wrote on Twitter:
“@BradMaddoxIsWWE nice move to get more followers. You are a nobody and you will always be a nobody! If ur going make a fake video find “@BradMaddoxIsWWE someone hotter!! I look nothing like that!! You are such loser! You burned bridges with the wrong Diva!”
It’s not clear if Rosa has now been filled in on what really went down.
Maddox’s real Youtube channel is @ BradMaddoxReality
The fake one is @ BradMaddoxIsReality

Hell In A Cell buyrate rises:
This year’s WWE Hell In A Cell PPV drew a preliminary 200,000 buys, up from last year’s 182,000 number.
This is good news as the company’s recent financial results had shown a drop across the board.
The event was headlined by Ryback vs Cm Punk. The previous year featured Alberto Del Rio, CM Punk and John Cena in a Triple Threat.
