Jerry Lawler Has Surgery

The King has stents placed in heart:
Wrestling legend Jerry “The King” Lawler who suffered a heart attack during last night’s WWE Raw broadcast, has undergone surgery to have stents placed in his heart. It’s possible he will have more surgery when doctors deem it viable.
Stents are small tubes used to widen narrow or weak arteries. There was initially concern that blood was being blocked from reaching his brain. The 62 year old has also undergone an angioplasty, where a balloon is used to aid the stents.
King’s ex-wife Stacy “The Kat” Carter confirmed the news on Twitter and noted that “he is still heavily sedated,” following the procedure. All of his vital signs are stable and he remains in a cardiac care unit.
