- As we reported back in 2008 John Cena was in a real life relationship with then WWE Diva Mickie James. The company decided to turn the fling in to a storyline which resulted in a couple of awkward segments on TV:
It was believed at the time that Cena and his high school sweetheart were on a break, but not long after they decided to marry.
Former WWE star Kenny Dykstra, who was once engaged to Mickie dragged back up her fling with Cena on Twitter. He wrote:
“Broke up with her once I found out she was cheating with John. #Rat.”
Dykstra also claims Cena is politicking for Randy Orton‘s release.

- The infamous angle in late 2000 where Vince McMahon ordered Trish Stratus to strip and bark like a dog has once again been brought up to target Linda McMahon‘s senate campaign. At Thursday’s Republican debate McMahon’s opponent Chris Shays stated:
“I think when you force a woman to take off all her clothes in an arena, and get down on the ground and bark like a dog, I think that’s assault on women.”
[We can all admit the angle was distasteful, but wrestling isn't real! It's not like Vince really did force her to strip. If a politician can't get his head around that, or would choose to play dumb deliberatively to score points, is that the kind of person the public wants in power?]
