- WWE are moving their focus for future talent on to Olympic and Amateur athletes. Gerald Brisco gave at least 10 college wrestlers tryouts at FCW last week, and WWE have also contacted the US Olympic committee for details on athletes who don’t quite make it to the Olympics or those who do well but are in sports where there are no professional leagues to make money from. They are looking for all kinds of stand out athletes, not just wrestlers.

What is WWE trying to become ???

  • scwink

I guess I can see why WWE would ask about wrestlers who didn’t make it to teh Olympics.I mean they have to be talented just to try out for the Olympics. And history has proven that most Amertuar wrestlers that go into Pro Wrestling (sports entertainment) do pretty good. A.I. Kurt Angle, The Steiners, Mike Rotundo, Shelton and Hass , and the list goes on.
