- This week’s episode of WWE Raw Supershow drew a 3.2 cable rating, which way up from previous weeks. If the first 2 hours are the only ones counted, the show would have done a 3.45 number.

- It’s a possibility that WWE will not bring back Randy Orton following his 60 day suspension. According to the Wrestling Observer there are a number of reasons for this, including heat from Vince McMahon, his financial demands and his injury proneness.
McMahon is reportedly not happy with Orton’s backstage attitude, the feeling being that although he’s grown up and no longer trashing hotel rooms, he’s still very bitter and arrogant. Vince was not happy with his “don’t care” attitude following the suspension and some within the company feel he was quick to lose his passion when he was moved down the card, instead of persevering and trying harder.
The other issue is his longterm contract, which will keep him in the company at least 8 more years. The feeling is that his drawing power no longer justifies his wage, and he’s likely to keep re-injuring himself, taking more out of their investment. CM Punk is now considered higher on the totem pole in terms of star power and longevity.
This is the same argument against Rey Mysterio, who is constantly injured, but still demands a high wage.
WWE could possibly renegotiate Orton’s contract, but if he plays hardball or continues with a negative attitude, it may be the last we see of him on WWE TV for some time.
