- WWE Champion CM Punk was recently criticized by a fan on Twitter for the company’s low ratings. The fan wrote:
“@CMPunk Killing ratings since TLC. Worst ratings from the champ since shawn Micheals.”
CM Punk soon fired back, writing:
“That Micheals guy sure did suck!.. You a wrestling fan or a ratings fan? I’ll take cross over seg telling a good story over covering a non-wrestler with condiments any day.”
[There are many factors that go in to the ratings, and simply blaming the champion is rather simplistic. As Vince Russo has taught us, if you always go after the ratings pop, you risk completely destroying the promotion's ability to create meaningful storylines that can bring a ratings spike once they've been built up.]

- WWE are currently working on a John Cena vs The Rock DVD, chronicling their recent feud. The current title is The Rock vs. John Cena – Once in a Life Time, and it’s set for an Autumn/Fall release.
[I may be wrong, but other than Austin vs McMahon, isn't this the first DVD focused on a single storyline? It seems they're trying to milk The Rock's return for all it's worth.]
