- Devon “Hannibal” Nicholson is still ticked off at Kurt Angle‘s Olympic claims. He sent the following email:
There were over 1.43 million viewers in the US alone that watched this weeks edition of TNA Impact according to the Neilson Ratings, where they made it seem like Kurt Angle is still training for the 2012 Olympics. The US freestyle Olympic trials took place in Iowa City Iowa April 20 – 21st 2012. Terel Diagnev dominated the heavyweight division (Angles division in 96) and will be representing the US in London. I find it highly disrespectful that TNA is making it seem like Angle is competing when athletes like Terel Diagnev deserve the credit for all their hard work and determination. Angle said he was too injured to do the trials but he’s still been wrestling for TNA on Pay Per Views, Television Tapings and even none-televised events. As a former amateur wrestling fan of his I am totally disgusted with this compete lack of respect.
Nicholson is the wrestler refused a WWE contract after he was diagnosed with Hepatitus C, which he claims he contracted from Abdullah The Butcher balding him without his knowledge.
