Former WWE developmental talent “Bad Seed” Shawn Osborne (Shawn McGrath), committed suicide atsome time yesterday. He emailed a note to a number of close friends before taking his life. Zoloft was found in his system.
McGrath signed his developmental contract with WWE in June 2006 and was assigned to Ohio Valley Wrestling, where he wrestled under the ring name “The Bad Seed” Shawn Osborne.
He soon formed a faction with Eddie Craven, Mike Kruel and Roucka, known as Bad Kompany in which they would challenge for the Southern Tag Team Championship in a losing effort to Cody Rhodes and Shawn Spears.
After OVW was cut from WWE he went to Deep South and was eventually released from his contract in February 2008.
