WWE Wrestlers Now Entertainers, Lance Cade Update

According to PWInsider.com in an effort to get the WWE re-classified as a touring Entertainment company they have instructed all announcers to refer to wrestles as “Entertainers,” rather than wrestlers, athletes or superstars.

The benefit being that if they are reclassified, they’ll no longer have to answer to sporting athletic commissions, such as the now stricter commission in Georgia, who’ve tightened up regulations since the Benoit tragedy. They will also not have to pay sporting taxes for the events.

Vince has always wanted to move away from the word wrestling, and this is the next step.

- It can now officially be confirmed that Lance Cade was released following a self endured seizure. He was believed to have been abusing prescription medication and wasn’t taking any recreational drugs as speculated. Still abusing a drug is abusing a dug.

Due to the severity of the incident and the fact that it could have easily been made public, they felt firing him was the best option, with the door open in the future. Cade has never actually failed the Wellness policy.

Cade has recently reunited with former tag partner Trevor Murdoch for several Indy appearances.
