- WWE sent out the following press release:

“Stone Cold” Steve Austin™ to be in WWE® Hall of Fame

World Wrestling Entertainment® announced today that the most popular Superstar in the history of the WWE, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, will be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame. The induction ceremony will take place on April 4th at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas during the weekend of the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania.

“Stone Cold” Steve Austin, the man who revolutionized an industry, holds every all-time WWE record, including live attendance, Pay-Per-View buys, licensing and merchandise.

Tickets go on sale for the Hall of Fame Ceremony this Saturday, January 17th and are available through: http://www.houstontoyotacenter.com, the Toyota Center Box Office, or by calling 1-866-4HOUTIX.

[Editor's note: Hogan held the merchandise record before Austin and now Cena is close to catching Austin, having also surpassed Hogan's 80's run. The Rock and DX are also up there.]

- In regards to her WWE return, Gail Kim posted the following on her official website’s message board:

“I know everyone is becoming so impatient when it comes to knowing when I’m going to start wrestling again….all I can say is to be patient. I will hopefully make it all worth the wait when I finally return to the ring at least I will try my hardest to!”

- Even Mr Kennedy himself agreed that his movie is exactly a masterpiece, when interviewed by BaltimoreSun.com:

“Yeah. It’s not going to win Oscars. It’s not going to be Picture of the Year or anything like that, but it’s a fun movie if you’re in that type of mood.”
