WWE Superstars Rating Rises, Bret Hart On TNA, Melina Update
- This past Thursday’s WWE Superstars on WGN drew its highest number yet, a 1.0 cable rating.
- Bret Hart was recently interviewed by MiamiHerald.com and said that although he’s doing signings for ROH, TNA probably wouldn’t be a good fit for him:
“With Ring of Honor, it’s basically me coming out and signing autographs and saying a few words to the crowd. With TNA, they would probably have me be involved in their storylines, and I don’t want to be as much a part of the storylines. I have some good friends down there in TNA and would love to help them. However, I don’t see anything on their show where I would be any use to them, unless I wanted to play the role of some type of commissioner, chairperson, referee or even an announcer. Those are all things I don’t really want to do.”
- Contrary to reports that Melina is being punished in some way for being upset about moving to Smackdown, she is actually out with bad tonsillitis like symptoms.
As we reported at the time, although there were rolled eyes that she was so upset about leaving her friends on Raw, she wasn’t kicking up a fuss in a punishable way.
