WWE Superstars On WGN Update, Val Venis To Japan, WWE Development

- The Superstars show on WGN will actually feature some original programming (no just a recap show), with stars from all brands. It will be taped along with Raw each Monday, to air on Thursday.

As mentioned yesterday WWE want to make the show a success so that Smackdown can take its place if their My NetworkTV deal ever goes sour.

- Former long time WWE wrestler Val Venis is going to Japan to wrestle for New Japan Pro Wrestling. Outside of TNA Japan is the next best place for skilled veterans to make a good paycheck. Giant Bernard (aka A Train) also happens to be a good friend of Venis.

- WWE Developmental star Sheamus O’Shaunessy is likely to be the next FCW wrestler to be brought up to ECW. The Irish native has a distinct look and plays a sort of kick ass warrior type gimmick, who simply gets the job done.
