WWE SmackDown Your Vote, Orton’s Brother, Scramble Match Update

- In conjunction with WWE’s Smack Down Your Vote campaign, which encourages fans to vote Several WWE Superstars and Divas will be attending the Democratic and Republican National Conventions. Batista, Shelton Benjamin and Candice Michelle will be at the DNC in Denver from August 26th to August 31st while Shawn Michaels, Mr Kennedy and Mickie James will be at the RNC in St. Paul, MN., from September 1st to September 4th. WWE will be part of several activities during both conventions and former champ John Cena and Mr Kennedy taped public service announcements to promote voter registration.

- Randy Orton’s brother Nathan, who has most recently been doing MMA has taken the boxing route and is focusing more on that than anything else.

- The rule for the Unforgiven Championship Scramble match have changed slightly. The new rules state that the entrants will be randomly drawn and the wrestlers that score pinfalls during the match will be recognized as interim champions, but only the winner of the match will be declared the actual champion in the record books.
