WWE Releases Sim Snuka and Candice Michelle
WWE firing season is in full swing, with Sim Snuka and Candice Michelle getting the chop today.
As I noted yesterday WWE had lost faith in Michelle, who’d been out with several injuries and never really got the chance to develop in the ring. With WWE’s kids initiative having her as a sexy non wrestler is no longer an option. Lucky for her she still has a well paid Godaddy gig.
Sim Snuka is also no surprise. It’s never good to see anybody go, but once they took him off TV it became obvious they had no idea how to use him, so he got the old “creative has nothing for you” shtick. He was touted for some kind of announcer or interviewer role, but it obviously never came to fruition.

They should of kept deuce and domino together with cherry. I liked the whole 50’s gimmick, lol. wwe has no tag team division, which is a shame.
im unsure wether batista is still on the juice or not due to the wellness policy but as everyone can tall he has been at some time but if you look back at triple h say four years ago when he first tore his hamstring he was a loty more muscular than he is now and he got told to tone down or risk injury again and he didnt listen the first time so what happened a second torn hamstring so obviously now he has taken notice but batista is very limeted to his moves but wwe should have known that if they ever paid any attention to his developmental character leviathon

I am so upset that Candice is gone from the company, she was a real good wrestler who happened to get injured like the next person. If the WWE is releasing people because they get injured often then they should release Batista too. The man just came back to Raw and bam he’s already injured again. WTH! The WWE is really going down hill with this kid program shit. More and more people need to watch TNA because that’s some real wrestling.

As far is tailoring the show to the kids Vince is your smart. The kids control the parents purse strings, and kid friendly show will bring in big sponsors.
There is a reason McDonald’s is the largest fast food restaurant they build brand loyalty in kids.

damn…now i understand why all my friends went to tna..i try staying with wwe but damn this cutting people every week has to stop.theres not many stars now…so wake the fuck up vince…and get better stars…and deff storylines
Well, well, well… I hate to say I told you so, but… Seriously though, it was no surprise to see these guys go. I’m sad about Candice as she was one of my favourite Divas but it’s unbelievable that she lasted even this long after being bumped from WrestleMania 24 due to injury. Sim Snuka, I actually thought he was already fired after the failed Legacy storyline until I did some research for my Exodus column last week and found he was still with the company. And Dorkstar, I’m leaning towards a Maria release too. Before this year’s draft she was a staple on the SmackDown women’s scene, however after the shake up we’ve got more legit female wrestlers on the show and unfortunately she just doesn’t cut the mustard.
I think Candice Michelle was an okay wrestler but not to good. I liked her but she had to many injuries.
I wish Candice was still there. But if one of the divas had to go it would have to be her. TO MANY INJURIES!!!!!

Scarlet-legit female wrestlers on the show? Okay there’s Beth Phoenix,Michelle McCool,Melina,Mickie James,Natalya (but she seems comfortable just managing) that have mat skills. Who else?
Daryl: Maryse isn’t too bad either. And I’m glad to see Rosa Mendes being given a go after acting as Beth’s sidekick for the most part of her WWE career.
