WWE Loses $5 Million, Smackdown Rating, Lashley News, Knockout Injured
- WWE’s South Korean TV deal with C.J. Media has fallen through after they opted not to extend the contract. This means WWE is out of pocket $5 million this year.
South Korea was one of the main countries targeted by WWE in 2005 as part of a Global expansion in to Asia.
- This past Friday’s WWE Smackdown on MyNetworkTV drew a 2.0 broadcast rating; the same number as last week.
- Bobby Lashley will be continuing his MMA career whilst wrestling for TNA, as it was just announced that his next opponent will be MMA and Japanese wrestling star The Beast Bob Sapp, at the on 6/27 in Biloxi, MS.
Sapp is 10-3-1, although some of his opponents have been far under his weight class.
- According to several outlets Angelina Love suffered a concussion form her stiff bump at the Lockdown PPV, where Taylor Wilde landed on her after a cross body. If the injury is to be treated correctly she shouldn’t be wrestling at the tapings.
