Wrestlemania 25 Airs In India, Vince McMahon E60 Rating, DVD Rankings
- Thanks to Jaspreet Singh:
“The tradition continued as the Indian broadcast of Wrestlemania 25 was edited out to fit it into the 3 hour slot. The show started with Chris Jericho vs The Legends. The matches not shown (edited) were Money in The Bank Ladder Match and The 25-Diva battle Royal. Just before the ending on Undertaker-Shawn Michaels match, the last couple of minutes of the match were shown again.”
In India the show is aired on the Ten Sports channel, not via PPV.
- For what it’s worth the Vince McMahon “Lord of the Ring” interview special on ESPN’s E:60 show on Tuesday night drew a 0.6 cable rating. If you want to compare to wrestling it beat the average for the first season of Hogan’s CCW, but obviously doesn’t touch the audiences for WWE and TNA. A good portion of the audience would have been outsiders, which is arguably the main reason Vince did it.
