Its just amazing what gets leaked online these days. It seems where there’s a camera there’s a pro wrestler doing something questionable. Here’s Roddy Piper smoking a joint and a bong in front of a crowd, although I have no idea what the event is.
You can hear Piper saying, “Now you’re gonna put this on tape for the FBI!” and “That’s funny tasting tobacco, man!” In regards to to the bong he says, “That’s the damnedest thing I’ve ever seen!”:

No, as somebody pointed out to me he has fought cancer, and their is not date on the video so he could have been using it for medicinal purposes. Plus the police have better things to do.

Again I think it’s a non issue, Jim Ross reiterated on his blog that Piper does it for medicinal purposes, which is legal.
i doubt thats for medical purposes, he has cancer, that wont treat it, i watched Rowdy Roddy Piper wrestle for a long long time and he was one of my favorite wrestlers, but now he can go to hell
It obviously doesn’t treat it, but it takes the pain away. There’s no need to hate on somebody for smoking pot; especially if it’s prescribed by a doctor.

the place where this happened was The Gathering of the Juggalos 2008. I don’t know if he really smokes but iknow why he did it this time. He did because he was around a big Juggalo family and they wanted him to hit one with them. Well to come out that there was a snake in the grass and revealed what ute Juggalos do at the Gathering. The person that released this is not a Juggalo in my book and is no longer part of the family. I don’t smoke but I don’t see anything wrong with anyone that does. It’s none of anyone buisness if u ain’t a Juggalo what goes on at the Gathering. Don’t judge Piper and don’t be surprised if u never see him back at this event again. This is a video that should have been ever released to the publics eye. He’s still a legend.
I wish Roderick George Toombs nothing but happiness success, long life and plenty of bong hits if that makes him happy…I know they have made me happy for many years with no ill effects. I hope his lymphoma does not get him down but that he wins. He starred in “They Live” which is a great film that has brought me much enjoyment. Legalize cannabis now!

good on you, Roddy. it’s a very effective painkiller – many of us in the UK use it for the same reason, although it’s never going to be legal because it’s worth more to the authorities as it stands… and booze KILLS people yet it’s legal. “They Live” – one of my fav films of all time.
it may not treat cancer the day that you smoke it, but if you agree, and you accept that it heals, it will stop the pain!

Coke, Heroin, Acid those are REAL DRUGS. To turn your back on some one you once admired simply because they smoke marijuana is a disgrace. Marijuana is used as a medical treatment for MANY MANY illnesses. No one ever said it cured cancer but it does ease the pain. And if the cancer causes u to lose ur appetite it also makes you hungry. So instead of judging people just because they smoke marijuana why not open up ur closed mind and let other people live differently than you do. “Playa Hate Me Cuz I Smoke, BURN IN HELL!” So many of this planets problems are caused by the close minded brain washed morons who cant just let every one live their own life. Um, actually, they’ve proven that it DOES destroy certain types of tumors, including brain tumors, some types of lung cancer, and several metabolic cancers. So yes, pot CAN cure cancer, depending on which type it is. Even the types it doesn’t reverse, it helps with coping with, by reducing pain and stimulating appetite, which can lead to fighting it, and recovering from it. Marijuana has 153 PROVEN medical uses, and a number more that are still in testing. Look it up, people. The research is out there, if you look for it.
