Victoria On Recent Releases, Good Smackdown Rating, New ECW Star

- WWE Diva Victoria posted the following Myspace message in regards to the recent firings from WWE:

“So Lena Yada, Kenny Dykstra and Elijah Burke were recently released. Kenny was my valet, I pimped out one of Elijah’s cars, and I traveled and am friends with Lena. The longer I’m in this business, this less of a suprise it is when a Superstar either is fired or quits. But I spend more time with these people than I do my family. It always makes me sad. Especially since we are spread out all over the country. So I go from seeing them several days a week, to maybe a couple times a year.”

- WWE Smackdown on MyNetworkTV reached its highest rating to date, drawing a 2.2 broadcast rating for last Friday’s episode. This is closer to what they were doing on the CW Network. Could this be due to Jeff Hardy? I’d like to hope so.

- Going by the spoilers a new wrestler will debut on ECW tonight under the name DJ Gabriel, who is British developmental worker Steve Lewington. Alicia Fox, aka the cheating Wedding Planner from Edge and Vickie’s wedding is tipped as his manager.
