Update On Shawn Michaels Injury, More Kowlaski Remembrances
- WrestlingTruth reader Kyle Hartnett was at the WWE Raw and Smackdown super tapings last night and describes the closing segment when Shawn Michaels sustained his injury:
“As it was coming to a close, Lance Cade came through the crowd and attacked Michaels. HBK quickly gained the upper hand as he was laying punches down on Cade. Jericho tried grabbing him from the outside and thats where HBK took an awkward fall going through the ropes down to the mat, nearly landing on his face, but was able to brace his fall at the last second. Jericho then left after a brief staredown. Then HBK delivered a few more kicks to Cade’s face as the show ended.”
- Several more stars have written remembrances of Killer Kowalski:
Triple H:
“He wouldn’t go down for the three count; his body kept going and going,” The Game reflected. “It’s a huge loss. Walter was one of the biggest name performers of his time. His legacy will live on forever.”
Kenny Dykstra:
“He was the biggest villain in the ring, and the sweetest guy outside the ring. He’d give the shirt off his back to you,” Dykstra stated. “Every single day he would beat the crap out of me. At times I was like, this is ridiculous. This old guy is whipping my butt. But, once I got into the WWE, I realized everything he showed me worked.”
