Update On Sean O’Haire Arrest, Smackdown Rating, Jeff Hardy News
- Last Friday’s episode of WWE Smackdown on MyNetworkTV drew a 2.0 broadcast rating.
- More details on the arrest of former WCW/WWE star Sean O’Haire have came to light, and they aren’t pretty.
He was arrested early Sunday morning for battery and criminal trespassing after his girlfriend told cops he violently attacked her at her home in Savannah, GA.
According to the police report, the woman claims Haire — who’s now a 6′6″ tall, 270 lbs MMA fighter — stormed downstairs unprovoked and “started screaming and throwing items around her.”
Moments later, Haire’s girlfriend claims he “began to choke her while calling her a bitch and a whore.”
According to the report, Haire’s girlfriend said she “does not know what caused the sudden attack, but that it has happened in the past on several occasions.”
The woman eventually ran outside and called the cops — and Haire was arrested and thrown into the Chatham County Detention Center … where he had the opportunity to pick on someone his own size.
We’re told he was released on $4,600 bail.
- WWE went all out to try and keep Jeff Hardy under contract, going as far as to offer him a deal where he wouldn’t even have to wrestle house shows, which has only be granted to the likes of HBK and the Undertaker in the past.
It seems he was adamant about leaving and no amount of money or schedule changes could make him stay.
Despite all this the feeling is that he’ll be back eventually. Both sides left on good terms and he would be stupid to jeopardize their relationship by going to TNA, which is highly unlikely.

Mabey Thats Why He Left, To Go To TNA and have more of a say in how his charecter behaves
maybe he’s just had enough,..period?
he already went to TNA once and came back within like 2 years. His run in TNA was pretty much a joke as well, much like the whole promotion
It sucks, because you know when this O’Haire jackass finally meets whatever end he is speeding toward, it’s going to be blamed on the “wrestling industry.”
Isn’t he the same moron who used to go on and on about how he loves to fight and got his ass handed to him in some bar to the point that he needed serious medical attention?
Throw his dumb ass into a cage and leave him there.
I hope this dosen’t get blamed on wrestling (The O’Haire ordeal) because this stuff happens in all lines of entertainment. Phil Spector killed someone, OJ etc. Human nature is flawed, you can’t just blame the profession.
If anything it looks bad on MMA. Didn’t one of those guys just kill someone? But again I don’t think being an MMA fighter, makes you a wife beater. As stupid as it is (I hate MMA)
The charges against Jeff Hardy are a bunch of bull somebody’s just rtyin to make a name. TNA is a company just starting. O’Hara did something wrong just like other poeple have done
