Update On Mr Kennedy’s Release
As well as the issues discussed in the original post, it appears there was some legitimate heat between Mr Kennedy and Randy Orton, which could have contributed to his release.
Several sources are reporting that after the main event on Monday’s Raw, Orton confronted Kennedy at told him to “be careful”, perhaps in regard to his perceived injury proneness, or maybe something more sinister such as his job.
There’s no doubt that Kennedy was seen as a potential top level star, so politics could have played a role. Although wrestling isn’t a competition, wrestlers are always vying for the top spots.
TNA will obviously be eager about bringing in Kennedy, but he’s unlikely to cause an “Impact” any greater than other former WWE stars have, considering he has been out for so long and never did have a solid main event run.

Does Ken Anderson (Mr.Kennedy) own the rights to his in-ring name? His main draw was his vocals and kennedy…….kennedy routine.
Don’t know but I hope he does. Man Kennedy was off the chain!

First off Tommy learn how to speak properly you sound so ignorant. Kennedy is without a doubt a sure fire main eventer and Orton is the one who botched his bump it was not Kennedy’s fault watch the video. TNA’s product continues to get better and all WWE is doing is making the competition tougher. WWE’s storylines have become so stupid and boring and I have grown tired of them.

Kennedy is/was a great midcard. That’s all I can say. If he goes to TNA I don’t see it going far. His face turn was a joke and I don’t see him as a star. He was in no position to trash the wellness program.
on another note, when did Randy Orton become god? I don’t get it. Sure he’s a great talent but can’t he just concern himself with his own career? He got Manu fired yet he still trashes him. Will he trash Kennedy also? It’s just horseshit in my opinion.
Maybe Orton will finally gather some in-ring heat for this…As he is getting just as much applauses as faces, yet he is suppose to be the companies top heel.
I didn’t know he did an “Anderson… Anderson” routine prior to his WWE days so thanks for that one. I think thats good for him as if he does it in TNA no-one can say it’s a rip-off from WWE.
The good thing is his name is Ken Anderson, so he can still be Ken. Although Mr Anderson sounds better if you ask me. And according to wiki he began doing his double surname shtick at High School for a radio show.
If he does go to TNA I can see him being there for a year or two but overall I don’t get why the WWE keeps getting rid of talent like him.
I would think the name kennedy would be owned by WWE if wikipedia is correct. Got it from the middle name of VKM and was suggested by Hayman. Not sure but I love all the speculation of a wrist injury and then his video of him flippin his wrists around.. funny as hell.
I feel that sould Mr.Kennedy go 2 TNA he could be what pushes the company over hump along with A.J. Styles, Samoa Joe and Daniels this could make TNA exciting to watch but TNA has gotta stop making those 40 plus year old has beens the focal point of the company
