Update On Kevin Nash, D’Angelo Dinero News, Linda McMahon Note

- Kevin Nash was indeed not present at the Impact tapings yesterday, and according to the Wrestling Observer is suspended “with” pay. His punishment is that he isn’t on TV and must work an upcoming house show.

This stems from an incident last week where he went off on management for not stopping a match where Chris Sabin received a dangerous looking bump.

- D’Angelo Dinero, who appears to have been dealing with some family issues posted the following on his blog:

The Pope” D’Angelo Dinero posted the following blog on his official website:

As you all know, these pass couple of weeks were very hard and difficult for Pope and his family. I would like to thank everyone of you 4(up) your support throughout these stressful times.

Pope would also like to send a very special thanks to his TNA Family; from the locker room, to the seamstress, all the way down to the janitor. TNA is truly a family atmosphere and a great company to be apart of. I dunno, maybe…just maybe YOUR Pope may decide to stick around for another 5-10years!

And then there’s Dixie Carter, one of the most personal and compassionate bosses that Pope has EVER worked for in this lifetime. It’s such a rarity to work for a boss who genuinely care for his/her employees (ESPECIALLY in this business) the way Dixie does.

In closing, Pope would just like to say that since that road has now been crossed, and we’ve (Pope and his Family) have finally made it over the hump, Pope looks forward to returning ASAP, to do what he does best: “Saving The World, One Smile At A Time!”~ PHS

- Politicians are already jumping all over Linda McMahon because of her wrestling past. It’s to be expected.

The Connecticut Democratic party have actually filed a complaint against Linda and WWE, claiming WWE are illegally contributing to her campaign by removing embarrassing videos of her from Youtube.

“If Linda McMahon is going to talk glowingly about her role as CEO of the WWE, then she also must answer for the kind of female-degrading, sexually-exploitative, steroid-fueled programming it’s become known for,” said Nancy DiNardo, chairwoman of the Connecticut Democratic Party.

The Katy Vick segment was one of the cited videos. (They’re never going to live that one down).

WWE’s counter-argument is that the videos were breaking copyright law and they are well within their rights to remove them. They remove hundreds of WWE videos a week.

  1. LOL lets hope linda loses so once again we will get sexuually exploit , hardcore WWE

^ never thought of that, that IS a good reason why she cant win.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO do you think thats why WWE went PG early this year in preperation fro Linda and the Guest Host must be tied into the running as well.

  3. LOL do they really consider her a threat in the election. Can you only imagine what the media would do if she was elected to the Senate. Being a governor is one thing or mayor but on a federal level what a joke that would be. I’m glad I don’t live in the great state of Connecticut. I love wrestling but having someone in this crazy business decide the direction and future of this nation would truly be insane.

  4. Linda McMahon is a threat and I hope she wins. Wrestling is alot like politics and Mrs.McMahon would be a great asset to the Senate,or any legislative body. I would put my faith in the judgement of Mrs.McMahon, or Cena, or Kevin Nash, or Jerry Lawler way before I would trust Obama and his jack-booted thugs.

  5. Guess you were right Keelan afterall about Nash and the trouble behind his outburst. Still sucks though – heres hoping Hogan and he get along and free’s Nash form any potential burying management might have planned.

Mark Madden wrote a great article about the incident with the Dudleys, comparing them to the Nasty Boys with their overly stiff, reckless style of rasslin, and how they were the ones who should have been punished during all of this, not Nash.

I sincerely hope the Dudleys fuck off and rot somewhere on the Indy scene, the talentless overweight douchebags.

    Grrr.

  6. @power: You should really tell them the last thing that you said as I would LOVE to see the reaction on their faces and I’m serious about that. “the dudleys being overweight douchebags” That part made my day.

  7. Gary Crawford, you are really wrong. Conneticut is one of the 10 most liberal states in the U.S.A. there is no way Linda is going to win. I dont want her to win either, because if she does, wrestling as a whole is gonna get a lot worse then it is now. Having Linda’s rivals attack her when she’s in about WWE, then Vince Mcmahon because he cares about politics more then his fans his gonna make the product even more stale then it already is.

This of course assuming Linda would win, but she wont

  8. @ Luke

If I were in the same place as the Dudleys and had such an opportunity, Im certain they would display their level of professionalism by both mindlessly beating me, a mere 5′8 average build guy, and then claiming to management they were keeping it old school by roughing up any lairy fans.

Their talent consists exactly of: one catchphrase that hasnt been cool since ‘99 (“Get the tables”…yawn), the 3D, which is a half decent move that would look way better performed by any other tag, like Cryme Tyme or Hart Foundation – where the smaller guy could hit a real athletic Cutter after the the bigger guys Backdrop, and then theres that partially-homosexual ‘headbutt’ to the groin (not that theres anything wrong with that, I just have a feeling Bubba and D’Von are the kind of guys who would get real homophobic if you said that to them)

Bottom line: Sabin could have been seriously hurt, maybe even paralyzed by the Dudleys who continued to do moves on a guy whos barely conscious. That goes beyond unforgivable in a ring where your entrusting your peers with your body and even your life. I have no idea how they have not been at least punished like Nash has. Like Madden said, lets hope Hogan hires his buddy Knobbs and sets in motion a Nasty Boys match against the Dudleys and they get potatoed into an early retirement.

  9. @power: I was just saying that the expressions on their faces would be funny, that’s all and I never said that I liked the dudleys although I am a bit dissapointed that the team will probably NEVER seperate and allow bubba ray or dvon to make a true name for themselves but it’s too late at this point so I say that they should be released if they don’t do something that’s new or exciting, you get what I’m saying so just take it easy dude.
