Update On Celebrity Championship Wrestling Spoilers & More
Although my correspondent that went to the tapings of the show revealed that Dennis Rodman wins the CCW title, therefore winning the show, I’ve now been informed that there were multiple endings of the show taped backstage meaning they can switch it if something leaks, which it obviously did. Somebody even sourced this site on wikipedia (it has since been removed) so who knows, maybe it won’t be Rodman after all.
Because the tapings were filmed over a short period, it’s fair to assume that the training happened before all of the matches, meaning the first match they had after just learning the forearm, kick and clothesline would have been deliberately poor and may explain why they were doing all sorts of moves even though they hadn’t learned them yet.
That’s “reality” TV for you folks. Probably less real that wrestling itself.

You’re correct, I’ll never forget Butterbean knocking out Bart Gunn in like three seconds at Wrestlemania 15. And all of us dumb fans thought he had a chance.

Nothing specific has been said, but they definitely want to do something with it after the first season.
If Rodman wins, that wil completely ruin the show for me. That would suck…Wasn’t Rodman a member of the NWO? The idea should be that if they’re going to put together a group of “celebrities” (and I use that term loosely) then they should have NO wrestling experience or knowledge of the business whatsoever. That way it doesn’t come easy for them, and they’d really have to work for it. Here’s hoping for season #2…

i think it was set for rodman to win as long as an injury didn’t take him out early. he’s good friends with hogan and bischoff. screech and willis were way better then him in all aspects.
Yeah, Rodman shouldn’t have won it.. that is bull. Danny Bonaduce or Todd Bridges should have won. Rodzilla was sloppy and because he was friends with Hogan/Bisch, he won
Trishelle was great too as the red hot redneck – she should have won the ccw women’s title
