UK TV Ratings, Roddy Piper News, Jeff Hardy Update, Ozzy Hosting Raw
- Thanks to Ian Hamilton of www.theringsidelive.com – this Friday at 7pm ET featuring THQ’s Bryan Williams talking about SmackDown vs Raw 2010… plus a chance to win a copy of the game!…
Impact (from October 15) did not draw a rating on Bravo in the UK, therefore drawing 40,000 viewers or less. I do not envisage the new airing on Virgin 1 (Friday nights from tomorrow) to set any records…
Raw (from October 12)
drew 39,000 in its replay on Thursday 10/15 (+5,000 viewers from last week)
drew 55,000 in a replay on Friday 10/16
SmackDown (from October 16)
drew 43,000 in its first airing (-40,000 – not a typo! The show even aired in the same timeslot, so I have no idea why the audience fell)
drew 32,000 in a Saturday morning replay 10/17

Roddy Piper has landed a role as a wrestler named Da Maniac on the “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” episode “The Gang Wrestles for the Troops,” airing today at 10p.m. on FX.
“I hate auditioning,” Piper said. “But as I’m spreading my acting wings here, sometimes you’ve got to take the bull by the horn. There were a lot of people who wanted this part, so I’m proud to have gotten it.”
The role was a takeoff of “The Wrestler,” with Piper in Mickey Rourke’s part, which he said he knows implicitly.
“For goodness sakes, I am the wrestler,” Piper said. “I really understood where the guy was coming from.”
- Jeff Hardy’s Twitter account [twitter.com/JEFFHARDYBRAND] is back online after being pulled following his arrest. The feeling is that his initial charges were overblown and he’ll be let off lightly.
