Torrie Wilson Embarrassed About Wrestlemania, Tiffany News, More JR
- In a recent interview with the Baltimore Sun, former WWE Diva Torrie Wilson claimed to be embarrased about Wrestlemania. “I’m very mad at myself and embarrassed that I agreed to be a part of something like that. A lot of people in the audience didn’t even know that I was in that match because they didn’t even announce it. For me, that whole experience at WrestleMania was kind of like closure. I feel like maybe I’m not appreciated like I would have hoped. They just wanted all these girls there. Now I can understand why Trish [Stratus] decided not to do it; she was smart. Going into it I trusted them that they would use me in the right way and I should have known better. All in all, I learned a valuable lesson.”
Does she think she’s done with WWE? “I do. I just didn’t appreciate that experience and I felt very unappreciated after all of the years that I put in for them. You combine that with the fact that I asked them to do a little thing on wwe.com to ‘vote for Torrie’ and they just ignored me. So, my feelings are hurt.”
- Tiffany is now the permanent General Manager of the ECW brand since Teddy Long is back on Smackdown.
- Jim Ross is back with another JRSBARBQ.com blog. Here are the wrestling highlights:
On Veterans:
“It’s funny when the “vets” in today’s Smackdown locker room are guys like Jericho, Edge, Punk, Jeff Hardy and Mysterio. All those guys still seem young to me but there is a distinct gap between these talents and the next wave.”
On Pushes:
“As it relates to Friday Night Smackdown, it seems as if Dolph Ziggler and John Morrison are lining up to be the next talents to move up the ladder. Both are getting more opportunities to shine and are doing a nice job of producing positive results.”
On Main Eventers:
“I can’t remember a era within the business that there has been more of a need to add to the main event mix and to create new top level bouts especially on PPV. This goes along with creating new stars which one would think is logically every wrestling organization’s top priority.”
On Roddy Piper:
“I’m not condoning that anyone drink and drive but it sure seems as if some are making a federal case about Roddy Piper’s recent arrest for an apparent DUI. Again, don’t get me wrong, DUI’s are serious business, but luckily there was no accident associated with this incident and no one was injured. I’m sure that Roddy feels as badly as one could feel about this embarrassing matter but everyone makes mistakes in life. I text Roddy this weekend, before the arrest for the record, and he was in amazingly, positive spirits and we largely discussed family and our health. I have great respect for Roddy Piper and I hope this issue can be resolved quickly and that history won’t be repeating itself. I, too, traveled down this road many years ago and learned a valuable lesson in the process.”

Seriously at Wrestlemania those Divas really deserved better. Screw vince for not appreciating those who had worked hard for him all these years. No wonder The Rock doesn’t want anything to do with WWE anymore. People like Candice & Mr Kennedy don’t deserve to go. I’m sure the WWE ratings are just going further downhill sooner or later.
Yes Torrie seems to have learned what Vince is all about!Just useing people! There are a few in his inner circle that he is loyal to but for the most part he doesn’t care about his talant! The storys are out there from many ex-employees of Vince! The womens division is treated like a joke!
That’s why Victoria went to tna probably
I agree that the Divas get no respect. The only reason Vince probably brought them in there was becaused they looked good. In the beginning, I didn’t respect them much either, because I felt that they were replacing good workers like Molly Holly, Gail Kim, and Victoria. But over time, I find that these ladies are busting their asses to get respect, like Trish Stratus.
women’s wrestling is a joke, none of them hoes know how to wrestle. At wrestlemania they did there part by filling dead time thats all there good for esp. since there are panties and bra matches anymore.
How Fucking sexist is that?
When I hear the term womens wrestling, who comes to mind?
Molly Holly, Trish Stratus, Tara, Daffney, Lita, Taylor Wilde
among others
All with amazing varied skills ranging from technical, roughneck, high risk and grounded styles, etc.
actually sit down maybe and compare Batista to Daffney, Cena to Wilde, Steiner to Holly.
Don’t forget about Mae Young. She took a powerbomb (on a table) from the Dudlys, dated Mark “sexual chocolate” Henry and tried to rape Tajiri. All when she looked 80!
They could exploit women, the mentaly challenged AND the elderly! It’s like they attacked the opposite demograhpic (Besides the mentaly challenged).
