Tommy Dreamer Disappointed, Howard Finkel News, Brutus Magnus News
- It may be in charcter but on his latest WWE Universe blog Tommy Dreamer claimed to be disappointed with his post retirement ultimatum run and not being included on Wrestlemania:
“Yes I am beyond disappointed I am not having a match,” he wrote. “Actually I read my New Year’s Resolutions blog and I have failed on 2 out of 3 of them – being in the Royal Rumble and having a match at WrestleMania.”
- Vince McMahon was adamant about having a humorous take on Howard Finkel for his Hall of Fame promo video instead of a straight laced respectful package that was pitched by at least one creative member.
Howard has been described as Vince’s personal jester over the years, and his hazing has often verged on bullying. It seems poor old Howard can’t even enter the Hall of fame without being made a joke of.
- In TNA news, the company are at a crossroads on what to do with British star Brutus Magnus. He was somewhat of an impulse signing as part of the last UK tour, with the idea that he’d drum up business in England, but the majority of UK wrestling fans are not familiar with their own Indy scene and would have only seen Magnus on UK Gladiators, which is not a widely watched show. The weak gimmick is obviously a take off the Gladiators thing. It seems Doug Williams, who is a highly respected journeyman is in a similar situation.

How about using Doug Williams to, I dunno, wrestle??? Brutus can go – If no one in the UK cares for him, why on earth would anyone else? The gimmick’s terrible, and he is average at very best. Doug can atleast get over as a genuine athlete.

i have an idea. they could set him up with awesome kong! now that would be funny. ol brutus called ODB a nasty tart, so here:
KOng could watch brutus wrestle to start out. she whispers something in Raisha’s ear and raisha says something in a diff language. after brutus’s match, raisha orders brutus to come backstage to meet with kong. now mind you, brutus has no idea of whats going on so bear with me. after he arrives he stayes put. kong sneaks up behind him, grabs him and plants one on him.
