TNA Stars On The Way Out, WWE Beats American Idol, RVD News
- TNA seem to have made the decision to let several wrestlers contracts expire. They include Roxxi, Rhaka Khan, Kip James and Jackie Moore. You’ll notice they haven’t been used in several weeks.
Perhaps the most surprising is Roxxi, who went as far as to shave her head for the company.
With Kip James, it’s a case that his contract no longer reflects his drawing power.
Rhaka Khan, apart from not having a clue in the ring has some backstage heat for her attitude, and she is no longer dating Kurt Angle so…
And Jackie Moore’s character seems to have just ran its course. They see her as an unnecessary paycheck.
To keep the product fresh they want to cycle talent every year or so, and these are the top candidates right now. And there is also of course Bobby Lashley’s contract to pay.
- In WWE news, they just sent out the following press release touting their demographic:
STAMFORD, Conn.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–World Wrestling Entertainment® television programming beat American Idol in the all important M18-34 advertiser demo for the week of April 13th. WWE® reached more than 16 million viewers domestically last week, an increase of 19% year to year. During the week, WWE programming reached 2,303,000 Men 18-34, 4,782,000 Men 18-49 and 10,318,000 Males 2+, more than the following network programs:
American Idol with 1,972,000 (Tuesday) and 2,117,000 (Wednesday) Men 18-34
House with 1,415,000 Men 18-34; 3,354,000 Men 18-49 and 6,700,000 Males 2+
The Office with 1,679,000 Men 18-34 and 3,169,000 Men 18-49
CSI and CSI Miami with 8,559,000 and 6,581,000 Males 2+ respectively
With the addition of the new one-hour show WWE Superstars® on WGN America to the already stellar TV lineup that includes Monday Night Raw®, Friday Night SmackDown®, and ECW®, WWE now provides fans with 21 hours of programming each week.
- ECW original RVD was on Fox News again the other night pushing the legalization of marijuana.

Kip James and Jackie Moore were released a few weeks ago.
I love TNA but why in the world would they release Roxxi of all people. She is one of the best knockouts in the company. Her finisher is one of the best of any female performer. It seems to me that the company is trying to replace Roxxi with Daffney. Please TNA, let Roxxi stay in the company.
They are still under contract, but are being kept of tv until they expire.

That’s a shame. You might have meant it as a joke when you were talking about Pulumbo going to TNA, but I actually wanted to see Billy & Chuck reunited.

Yeah, he was seeing her after he broke up with Karren. The cynical would say that’s the only reason she lasted this long.
Um…21 hours of programming by the WWE every week? Bullshyt. ECW is 1 hour, Superstars is 1 hour, Raw is 2 and SD! is 2. Fail.
I could sure add more to the list that seem useless to me.
I am not completely happy with TNA. they need better scripts and better people to run them. it’s a good show, but…………
On the 21 hours of programming thing…couldn’t they be including their WWE.com Legacy thing…or WWE 24/7 stuff? Maybe even their WWE.com originals…
I mean…they would have to to turn 6 hours into 21. Maybe they’re even counting the short hour-long raw on latenight saturdays, and the spanish replays?
You forget all those international shows and one hour recap shows. And yes I think they count replays etc.
They should keep Roxxi, team her with Daffney and then bring in MizChief to team with them 2. it would be a great 3some against the Beautiful people.
