TNA Signs WCW Star, Mick Foley News, Live Impact Press Release
- TNA have signed washed up former WCW Nitro announcer and wrestler Steve “Mongo” McMichael as a special enforcer for the Monster’s Ball match at Bound For Glory. Yet again TNA takes a step backwards to a time that nearly killed professional wrestling. This man is not a star anymore, he sucked at the time, why waste a paycheck?

Love your site number one. Mongo. Your right about his lack of skill, and I doubt thats why TNA signed him. Living in Chicago, I know for a fact that Mongo is a huge huge star of the 85 bears and is loved in the Windy City. Makes sense to me.
ahhhh I see your point. This is one of the few occasions where being based in England works against me.
At least he’ll be an enforcer rather than a commentator! lol
Remember him relentlessly referring to Heenan as “Bobby The ‘Stain’” as if it was the funniest thing in the world?
Ugh.
The time that actually almost killed wrestling. Exagerate much?
