TNA Signs Former WWE Star, Mick Foley Update, Team 3D’s New Deal

- TNA have reportedly signed former WWE hot prospect Nathan Jones, who prematurely quit the business due to the grind of the schedule – which is obviously a lot easier in TNA despite house show increases. Jones had a strong run with WWE in 2003 teaming with the likes of Matt Morgan and Brock Lesnar.

Post wrestling Jones has appeared in a number of movies due to his impressive size, including Troy and the Condemned.

- Mick Foley’s TNA deal is for an on air role and will span 6 months. He will not be an active wrestler but I’m sure he’ll have one or two matches and physical confrontations.

- Team 3D’s new TNA contract will see them stay with the company for two more years, so another WWE run seems unlikely.
