TNA Going High Definition With Help From New Studio

As we reported last week TNA wrestling have opened a brand new TV studio and production facility in their office base of Nashville, TN. and are on the verge of making that much needed switch to the high definition TV format. WWE made the switch early this year.

Dubbed “TNAtv” the new complex has four HD edit suites one equipped with Avid Symphony Nitris DX for TV production and another suite will be equipped with Fian Cut Pro HD for home video production. It is one of the biggest operations in the area and head of TNA production Kevin Sullivan (not the wrestler) mentioned “It is a beautiful facility, first class all the way. We can’t
wait move into our new home.”

The facility will pre and post produce all of TNA’s flagship programming, including “iMPACT!”, Xplosion,
international programming, DVDs, TNA Today, on-air graphics and commercials. “TNAtv is the next logical step in the growth of the company. The ultimate goal is to deliver the best product possible to the fans, and now we will have all the tools to do that,” continued Sullivan.

As long as it proves financially viable then moving to HD is definitely something TNA need to do in order to keep their product up to scratch with the big dogs up in Stamford.
