TNA Beats WWE In UK, Ashley Massaro Update, Kristal To TNA?

- The ratings war in the UK is a lot tighter than in the US, with TNA often getting one over on WWE. It did just that in the last week of July.

The July 27th Raw drew 57,000 viewers.
The July 30th TNA Impact drew 70,000 viewers.
The July 31st Smackdown drew 45,000 viewers.

- Former WWE Diva Ashley Massaro is still being haunted by her wrestling days as the metal plate in her leg dislodged and became abscessed. She will have surgery shortly to repair the damage.

- Speaking of former Divas, Kristal Marshall, the girlfriend of Bobby Lashley is dropping hints that shes coming to TNA. Which I guess makes sense considering Lashley recently signed.

She is not known for her in-ring work so will more than likely take on a valet role.

  1. This is good news for TNA and all those that arguing against wwe kiddies. Could you please keep posting the ratings in the UK, so we can see what real fans watch.

  2. Sounds like Ashley is going to have to go back to escorting to pay for her surgery.

  3. I watch both but even with the kids initiative their still better than the clusterfuck of retard that is tna taker and hbk at mania was better than anything tna has done inth the past three years tna used to be good when it was the originals back in like 02-05 from 06 on it’s been mostly downhill I’m afraid they’re gonna end up like wcw I mean why not some of the wcw killers are in tna Steiner and Nash

  4. That’s good news for TNA AND WWE fans. Judgeing from the shows WWE are doing lately, it seems another war may be coming. The Anti-Canada movement was (arguably) what started the “attitude” era. It’s about time for a Hart Dynasty push.
History repeats itself. With the return of “suck it” and an NWO clone in TNA, this isn’t so far fetched. They even have Sting and Kevin Nash. Much older and versions albeit but it’s not as if Shawn Michaels is what he used to be either.
A break out star is what the WWE needs. John Cena… As a heel?

  5. I meant to say Sting and Nash are older and slower. I didn’t even mention Scott Stiener, who is also…
when I said the WWE needs a breakout star, I mean they need a new Steve Austin. Orton dosent cut it, his mic skills are for shit. If Cena turned the kids would be crushed. They would get over it and end up loveing him more then ever.
Maybe Cena isn’t the one. It isn’t HHH though. He’s a McMahon and he’s been on both sides and it hasn’t caught on. Besides he’s old.
Just giving you something to think about.

  6. people are forgetting wwes time schedule in the uk is like 3 [i think] in the morning, no real victory for tna here, its just time slots.

  7. That’s a good point Jad, but they still usually do not beat them.

  8. ACTUALLY JAD, raw and smackdown comes on in the afternoon as well, at 5pm so no. Get your facts right before you make a comment.

  9. That’s right lazar but as you can see by the date for the RAW rating thats just what the 2am RAW got, doesn’t say what the other showings got.

When you add up both RAW showings and Both iMPACT showings for the week RAW will have beat TNA by a bit with the rating because not everyone can stay up to 2am to watch it live.

This isn’t much for TNA to be happy with when you look at all the details behind it.

  10. True, but the point is Impact went up. Sometimes they don’t even get a high enough number for a rating to be released.

  11. Whatever the so called TNA fans are talikng about, WWE is still the A show……. With all of those funny and pathetic storylines the TNA has, no doubt, they still suck….. WWE RULES!!!

  12. It’s because TNA is shown at 9 on Saturdays, so it’s easier to watch than WWE which is on live in the UK, usually at about 1/2am. I like both, but honestly, I think WWE is better
