TNA Announce Mega January UK Tour With The Final Night In Wembley Arena
After the major success of their first UK tour (which ends today) TNA wrestling have announced a new mega tour which will take place in January, culminating in a daring show at the Wembley Arena (not to be confused by Stadium). If it sells out they could be looking at a 12,000+ event, which is entirely possible judging by the recent sellouts.
The dates are as follows:
Tuesday, January 20 – Manchester, England – Manchester Evening News Arena
Wednesday, January 21 – Birmingham, England – National Indoor Arena
Thursday, January 22 – Glasgow, Scotland – Braehead Arena
Saturday, January 24 – London, England – Wembley Arena
Tickets for all these events go on sale on Friday, June 27 at 9 A.M.
The tour will be promoted by John Cornwell of SJM Concerts.
“The reception TNA Wrestling received this week from the U.K. fans has been nothing short of incredible and we look forward to returning in January,” said TNA president Dixie Carter.
Now that TNA have tested the waters and realized they are red hot, the next tour could bring more major names and the extra trimmings that lacked during the recent dates. A UK PPV which was teased the other night is far from set in stone, but definitely feasible.
