Ticket For Tuesday’s UK Smackdown, Goldberg, MVP’s Shirt, Mania Tickets

- From Andy R:
“My friend has pulled out of coming to Smackdown on Tuesday night at the M.E.N. Arena in Manchester. As it’s far too short notice for him to flog it on e-bay I thought I’d ask if anyone was interested. Face value is fine as I’m going I can pass it to you at the venue as posting at this late stage wouldn’t be wise.

The ticket is in Block 114 and I will check the Row & seat number if anyone is interested. Let me know if you are and we can arrange where to meet etc.

[If you are interested email me at typesthetalk@gmail.com and I'll pass the info along. I know Andy from the forum and he'll definitely tick by his word and give you the ticket.]

- Thanks to W. L. Frye:
Bill Goldberg is now doing television commercials for personal injury law firms. The senior partner at my firm was recently in touch with an ad agency which puts together these commercials in which Goldberg discusses being injured in a car accident, on the job, etc. They’re surprisingly tasteful, however the asking price is $6,000 to film the ads (6-8 of them at 15-30 sec. each) and another $6,000 for the rights to air them in your firm’s TV market for six months.

- From Andrew McMahon:
I don’t know if anyone noticed but on Smackdown, MVP was wearing an ARIST TRIST shirt. This is a clothing line heavily associated (owned?) by Masahiro Chono. The logo has been all over New Japan shows and video games since the late 90s.
