“The Wrestler” Movie Gets Award, Edge Injured, Mr Kennedy Gets Political

- “The Wrestler” movie, which has been getting great reviews and has been dubbed the comeback movie for Mickey Rourke, won its first award today at the Venice film festival. It got a Golden Lion for Best Picture. There is a lot of buzz surrounding this picture and it can only mean good things for the wrestling business.

- According to PWInsider, Edge is using his time off TV to recover from a banged up knee and several other minor aches and pains.

- Mr Kennedy has been openly endorsing John McCain, although most wrestlers are remaining unbiased because of the Smackdown Your Vote campaign.
