Kurt Angle: Please Come Back
I miss Kurt Angle in the WWE. He was most definitely the total package and one the greatest performers to ever grace their ring. He was an immensely skilled wrestler with awesome mic abilities and charisma enough for ten men. Kurt was a showman extraordinaire as well; some of the best comedic moments in the history of the WWE were supplied by or featured him. He was one of a very select few capable of making pro wrestling truly as fun as it was exciting. His leaving the company was a sad day for wrestling fans all over the world.
Kurt added so much to the shows he appeared on. Who could forget the famous and even infamous milk truck incident? “Christmas with the Angles” was yet another classic. His rap mocking John Cena was a complete riot not only for the stinging words but for Kurt’s complete inability to even come close to any sort of a harmonious performance. A personal favorite exploit was when he mimicked Shawn Michaels’ entry song and sang a self-penned parody titled “Sexy Kurt”. He even went so far as to put on some very similar clothes, strut down the ramp, and do the in ring posing that Michaels is so famous for. I honestly can’t remember the last time I saw something so humorously entertaining on WWE programming.
Kurt Angle is a not only an excellent entertainer, he is a gifted athlete and a credit to pro wrestling itself. His feuds with Booker T, JBL, and Shawn Michaels were some of the best in the history of the sport. They were all superbly entertaining while reinforced by the in-ring superiority and prowess true wrestling fans appreciate and crave. Each time he entered the ring Kurt Angle gave it his all. He made it more than obvious he was there because he truly loved wrestling. He was an athlete that constantly strove to improve and be the best at what he did.
Like always there are several different versions of why he left WWE. I have heard things ranging from it was his request to Vince demanded his release. Everything under the sun has been blamed: drug abuse, not enough pay, his wife, internal jealousy, too many injuries, and his health. No one but Kurt and Vince will ever fully know the truth. I just wish they would iron out whatever drove them apart and Kurt would come back where he truly belongs. I would love to see him make his triumphant return at a WrestleMania or perhaps be the surprise entrant and winner of a future Royal Rumble. Only an event with such great prestige and fanfare could be suitable for the homecoming one of the greatest stars to ever shine within their ranks.

There’s no doubt that Kurt was one of the top stars in WWE whilst he way there. He could be serious and comedic at the drop of a hat and definitely has the wrestling skills to back it up, but Kurt simply couldn’t handle the WWE schedule anymore.
His TNA run may be overlooked by some WWE fans, but he continues to be the highlight of that show in terms of comedy, seriousness and wrestling ability. Matches with young stars like AJ Styles and Samoa Joe are just as good as any that he had in the WWE.
Although some of his skits in TNA are cringe worthy because they haven’t had that “WWE” support, he is still one of the best in the world and can be enjoyed just as much on Impact as WWE programming.

I completly agree that Kurt Angle is one the greatest WWE performers of all time and I also wish he would come back.
I think the mark of a great wrestler is his ability to elevate a organization like TNA with his arrival. For them to be able to get a major talent like Kurt was big for them dispite having such stars like Jeff Hardy, Hulk Hogan and Sting, he out shined them all, not to mention his rivary with Samoa Joe was amazing.
There’s no doubt that every superstar that leaves the WWE always come back so I absolutely expect Kurt to be in a WWE ring real soon, hopefully he brings some of those exciting stars like AJ Styles and a few other guys from of the X Division with him.
